Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, is not under consideration elsewhere, and has been approved by all authors.
• The manuscript fits the Focus and Scope of DISTINCTION, is written in English or Bahasa Indonesia, and is 3,000–6,000 words in length.
• The manuscript includes an abstract of 150–250 words, 3–5 keywords, and follows the appropriate structure for an Original Research Article, Review Article, or Conceptual Paper.
• All citations and references follow APA Style, 7th Edition, with a minimum of 30 relevant and verifiable references, and all in-text citations correspond with the reference list.
• The manuscript has been prepared for double-blind peer review by removing author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and other identifying information from the manuscript file.
• All tables, figures, and supplementary materials are properly numbered, titled, cited in the text, of sufficient quality, and accompanied by the necessary permissions where applicable.
• The manuscript includes all relevant ethical disclosures, including conflict of interest, funding, research ethics/informed consent where applicable, and disclosure of substantive use of generative AI in accordance with DISTINCTION policy.
